The Human Research Protection Program has a growing set of online web-based utilities to assist UCSD and VAMC researchers in conducting research involving human volunteers.

Currently available:

  • Login for e-IRB services - including:
    • Online New Project Application ("almost paperless" e-IRB review)
    • Online Continuing Review submission (also "almost paperless").
    • Online Adverse Event Reporting
    • Uploading electronic documents associated with an existing project (for which you have an IRB-assigned project number), including Project Amendments, Consents, Advertisements, and Responses to letters sent by the IRB.
