The HRPP  has both a formal set of Standard Operating Policies and Procedures written first in 2002 and kept updated, an older (1999) Investigator Guidelines document that describes how the program works.  Also provided here are the Veterans Health Administration VHA Handbook 1200.5 which provides guidance for VA investigators.  These documents are in Adobe Acrobat 4.0 format.  If you do not have the Acrobat reader, you can get it here. The current version of the UCSD Human Research Protections Program Standard Operating Policies and Procedures has been "revised" to provide these policies and procedures separately rather than as one guideline.
